Terms and Conditions

Welcome to MasterArm. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern customer access to and use of the services provided by MasterArm (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our dedicated DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) server hosting, automation tools, and customer support.

By using our services, you as a customer agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

    MasterArm offers managed hosting services for DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) including but not limited to:

  • Dedicated server instances
  • Automated tools for server restart and management
  • Customer support
  • Optional participation in sponsored tournaments and community events

2. Definitions & Service Duration

  • “1 Month” means 30 calendar days (30 × 24 hours).
  • “3 Months” = 90 days, “6 Months” = 180 days, and “12 Months” = 365 days.
  • The billing period starts immediately upon server delivery.

3. Service Categories

3.1. Prepaid Servers

  • Paid upfront for a fixed period (e.g., 1, 3, 6, or 12 months).
  • The customer will receive 2 reminder emails before expiration.
  • The server will automatically shut down at the exact expiry time if not extended.
  • Once delivered, the duration begins immediately and is non-refundable unless explicitly stated.
  • Any refund before delivery will incur a €20 preparation fee.

3.2. Subscription Servers

  • Auto-renew every 30 days via automated payment.
  • The customer may cancel anytime; the server will remain active until the current billing cycle ends
  • The subscription period starts from the delivery time.

4. Server Delivery & Setup

  • Delivery time is up to 48 hours after payment completion.
  • If cancelled before delivery, a €20 setup fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • The customer is not allowed to change slot count, port number, or critical settings without approval.

5. Usage & Restrictions

  • The customer is responsible for uploaded content, missions, scripts, and behavior on his/her server.
  • The customer must not use our services for illegal or abusive activities (e.g., DDoS attacks, unauthorized access, offensive content).
  • Sharing the login credentials or granting control to unauthorized third parties is prohibited.
  • If the customer’s files damage the server, we may shut it down without refund.In severe cases, we reserve the right to terminate service immediately and without compensation, especially if the damage causes disruption to other customers or infrastructure.
  • Servers are updated automatically after Eagle Dynamics releases updates.
  • In some cases, we may reschedule updates and inform the customers via email.
  • The customer cannot request extra time due to maintenance—ours or Eagle Dynamics’.
  • If ED’s global server is offline, we are not liable for related outages.

6. Mod Support & Compatibility

  • We do not guarantee full compatibility with third-party mods.
  • Mod support is provided on a best-effort basis only.

7. Support & Communication

  • All issues must be submitted via email.
  • Response time is up to 24 hours.
  • If the issue is on our side, we may extend customer service time at our discretion.

8. Payments, Renewals, and Refunds

  • All services must be paid in advance.
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension or termination.
  • Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • No refunds for unused or partial periods after server delivery.
  • Preparation/setup costs are non-refundable once started.

9. Downtime and Maintenance

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • Scheduled maintenance may result in brief downtime, which we will notify the customer of in advance whenever possible.
  • We are not liable for game-related bugs or external DCS server issues.

10. Data and Backups

  • The customer is responsible for managing backups of his/her server configurations and mission files.
  • We may perform periodic system backups, but we do not guarantee data recovery.

11. Intellectual Property

  • The customer retain ownership of custom missions, scripts, or mods he upload.
  • MasterArm branding and automation scripts remain our intellectual property and may not be redistributed without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

    MasterArm shall not be held liable for:
  • Loss of data, profits, or gameplay performance.
  • Any damage arising from the use or inability to use the service.
  • Content uploaded or actions taken by other users on shared infrastructure.
  • Any outages caused by Eagle Dynamics, mods, or user files.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect only the minimum necessary information to provide and support our services, such as The customer email address and IP for account management and security. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, the customer agree to the processing of his/her data in accordance with this policy.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hamburg, Germany.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and communicated via email if necessary. Continued use of our services means The customer accept the changes.
